Storage Tips for Chastity Cages

Good storage starts after cleaning and full drying. Putting a damp cage in a closed pouch can retain odor and moisture; mixing spare rings between models can create a compatibility mistake at the next use. A small, consistent storage system solves both problems.

Dry before packing

After washing according to the product instructions, let the inside of the cage, ring joint, lock area, and any vents dry completely. Inspect for remaining residue or damage in good light. Store only clean parts; a pouch should not hide a skipped cleaning step.

Keep each model's parts identified

Place its ring, lock or key, and any permitted spare parts together with a note of the product model and selected size. Nominally similar rings may have different attachment shapes. If you own several devices, separate their small components rather than leaving loose parts in one bag. Keep the removal method accessible while a cage is in use.

Protect the surface

Use a dry, clean storage space away from sharp objects that might scratch a finish or tear a flexible part. Check manufacturer guidance for any material-specific storage limits. Before the next wear, recheck edges, closures, and the ring selection; storage does not guarantee that a part stayed undamaged.

Use the step-by-step cleaning guide before putting a device away and the maintenance checklist before reassembly. A storage accessory is optional; the essential requirements are clean, dry, identified, and accessible parts.
