Can You Shower in a Chastity Cage?

You may be able to rinse around some devices in the shower, but water reaching the outside is not the same as cleaning skin under the ring or drying the cage's joins. The exact material, coating, and lock determine whether prolonged water exposure is appropriate; follow that model's instructions.

What water may miss

Ring contact areas, the cage-to-ring junction, lock housing, and covered skin can retain sweat or residue. Shampoo and scented body wash may also irritate genital skin if trapped. Plan regular removal so you can gently wash and dry the skin and clean components as directed.

Drying matters

After exposure to water, check seams, bars, openings, and flexible components for retained moisture. Do not store a damp device. Inspect the skin for rubbing or redness once the cage is off; a shower can hide a fit problem temporarily without correcting it.

If a product listing is unclear about water and lock care, ask before relying on showering in it. See the daily hygiene routine and the full device-cleaning sequence. Remove the cage for pain, numbness, swelling, color change, or urinary difficulty.
