How to Measure Chastity Cage Ring Size

To measure chastity cage ring size, record the circumference where the base ring will sit, then divide by π to estimate the diameter of an equivalent circle. Compare that estimate with the inner ring diameter listed for the exact product. The result is a starting point: body shape, ring shape, and material still affect fit.

What you need

Use a flexible measuring tape marked in millimeters, or a non-stretch string and a ruler. Write down the number and the unit. A loose fabric tape can give inconsistent results, so lay it flat and repeat the measurement. Do not use the circumference of an existing cage as a substitute unless you know exactly which inner edge it represents.

Measure the intended ring position

  1. While relaxed, locate the area where the base ring of the chosen design is intended to rest.
  2. Wrap the tape around that area in one level loop. Keep it close to the skin without pulling it tight or compressing tissue.
  3. Record the circumference in millimeters. If using string, mark where the ends meet and measure that length on a ruler.
  4. Repeat once. If the readings disagree, redo the loop rather than averaging a clearly loose and a clearly tight measurement.

Different ring shapes can sit differently even when their nominal diameter matches. A circular ring and an oval ring do not have the same geometry; the simple conversion below is most directly comparable to a circular inner diameter.

Convert circumference to an approximate diameter

Equivalent circular diameter = circumference ÷ π. For example, 150 mm ÷ 3.1416 is about 47.7 mm. That does not mean you should automatically buy a 48 mm ring: the equation assumes a circle, while the measured area and a product's ring may not be circular. It also says nothing about cage length or the space inside the cage body.

Measured circumference Approximate circular diameter
135 mm 43.0 mm
145 mm 46.2 mm
150 mm 47.7 mm
160 mm 50.9 mm

Compare the result with the exact Mamba model

The Pink Mamba 4.0 listing names compatible snap-ring inner diameters of 43, 46, 49, and 51 mm. The Invisible Pink Mamba with Silicone Ring lists silicone rings of 43, 47, 51, and 55 mm in its package text. These are different systems. Check ring compatibility and the selected product's current package information rather than assuming all Mamba rings interchange. The Mamba rings collection is useful for browsing replacement options, but match the connection to your cage model before buying.

When the estimate falls between sizes

Do not choose a painfully tight ring because it seems more secure. Check whether the product offers a different ring shape or size, and test the assembled fit briefly when you can remove it promptly. Excessive shifting may indicate a different fit problem; pinching, pain, numbness, swelling, color change, or difficulty urinating means remove the device immediately. If symptoms persist or removal is difficult, seek medical help.

Once you have a plausible ring option, compare cage length and internal width separately. The ring-versus-length guide explains those separate measurements; this page is the step-by-step ring-measuring method.
